Sailing along the coast,
windy and snowing, the coastline barely visible.
Feeling lost in whiteness, and in anticipation.
Rocks, solid, majestic, vertical - unapproachable ground disappearing into the mist.
I’m left in awe.
Curious eyes… seem interested in this strange human species.
They are at home, they are tender, loving, joyful…
sometimes they fight too.
Glaciers, powerful and vulnerable, hide the history of millennia.
Mysteries from the past slowly disappear… the bergs float free,
and they are so blue, so beautifully blue…
Enigmatic light lingers in a valley.
Suddenly, the sun warms the sky, and with it, my spirits.
