The Adventdalen River near Longyearbyen freezes in winter, and most of it is covered by snow. As the frozen water expands, windswept blue mounds emerge from the otherwise flat, white valley. The clear glacial ice cracks into intricate abstract patterns, revealing unexpected shapes and textures beneath its transparent surface. Black stones trapped within the ice become part of the river's story, suspended in time.
